Beginning in late April
We open our greenhouse and sell bedding plants, vegetables, herbs and perennials.
In May,
Strawberries and asparagus begin to appear, which run through June.
By the Fourth of July
We have Jersey Fresh Corn and soon after we have our own field grown tomatoes (we start our tomatoes in a cold frame house directly in the field, so you get the taste of a field grown tomato much earlier than field grown tomatoes usually start). Cucumbers, peppers, zucchini, squash, eggplant, blackberries, raspberries, and our own fresh cut flowers follow soon after, and by the end of July we have a full compliment of our own fresh vegetables.
As the season progresses
We have bulk available for freezing or canning. In addition to our own vegetables and berries, we buy in peaches, nectarines, blueberries, plums and various other fruits. We also carry milk and milk products, and a variety of jams, jellies, vinegars, salsas, dressings, honey, and syrups as well as crafts by local artisans.
In the fall
We carry pumpkins, cornstalks, bales of hay, and potted mums.
At Thanksgiving
We take pie orders for the delicious pies from Nardoza’s Bakery in Bordentown.
During the Christmas season
We have Christmas Trees, wreaths, grave blankets and other holiday goodies.
